When connecting flanges, first place the gasket according to the requirements, then align the two flanges, thread a few bolts and nuts (do not tighten), and then use a sharp punch to insert them into the screw holes without bolts. Pry the two screw holes until all bolts are threaded, and then tighten the bolts. When tightening bolts, they should be gradually and evenly tightened in a cross pattern.
